From 22 to 27 November 2026, a high-level executive delegation will visit Shenzhen, one of China’s leading centres for artificial intelligence, robotics, smart manufacturing, and advanced technology commercialisation.

Under the theme “Visit to the Future 2026: Industrial Intelligence in Action,” the mission will explore how artificial intelligence is moving from digital systems into the physical world — transforming machines, production lines, factories, logistics networks and mobility. At its core are three closely connected areas: Physical AI, Robotics and Smart Manufacturing, bringing to life through humanoid and collaborative robots, embodied intelligence, AI agents, advanced automation and intelligent production systems increasingly being deployed in real-world industrial environments.

A guided visit to the China Hi-Tech Fair will complement the company visits by offering a concentrated view of emerging technologies, industries and innovation trends across China’s broader technology landscape.

The mission will also reveal the wider ecosystem enabling this transformation, as well as how Chinese companies are adapting their strategies, products and business models to the rapid advancement of AI. In Shenzhen, this transformation is already taking shape at industrial scale, with Physical AI systems moving from design and prototyping to commercial deployment at exceptional speed.

The mission offers a carefully structured executive programme combining targeted company visits, closed-door exchanges with industry leaders, inspiring technology demonstrations, and curated participation in China’s largest and most influential science and technology fair.

The Business Mission to Shenzhen is conceived as a strategic immersion, rather than a conventional business trip or study tour. Participation Fee: €8,500 per person

The participation fee includes:

Registration Deadline and Validation of participation

Registrations must be submitted by 2 November 2026. Given the limited number of participants and the objective of ensuring high-quality participation, registration is subject to validation by ChinaEU. Participants are invited to fill in the registration form by clicking here. Registration becomes final upon written confirmation from ChinaEU and receipt of the applicable participation fee.

Payment

Upon validation of your registration, your payment will be invoiced. Your registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

Cancellation

Should you need to cancel your participation in the “Visit to the Future 2026” mission, the following cancellation fees will apply: 50% cancellation fee between 1-31 October 2026, and 100% cancellation fee from 1 November 2026 onwards. Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. In the absence of written notification, the full participation fee will remain payable.

Replacement is possible up to 10 November and is subject to organization approval.

If fewer than the minimum number of participants required for the mission are registered by 15 October 2026, ChinaEU reserves the right to cancel the mission, in which case all paid participation fees will be fully reimbursed. Participants remain responsible for any travel or accommodation arrangements made independently.

Force majeure

Force majeure are all circumstances that occur beyond the will of the parties and prevent the organisation of the mission or one aspect of it, including, epidemic or pandemic, fire, mobilisation, seizure, embargo, acts of (cyber) terrorism, shortage of means of transport, general scarcity of raw materials, restrictions in energy consumption (non-restrictive enumeration). The occurrence of any of these circumstances removes all liability on the part of ChinaEU and the external service providers.

Personal data

Your personal data will be processed by ChinaEU, acting as data controller, in order to organize the mission as announced in the programme. ChinaEU may transfer strictly necessary data to external partners (including travel, accommodation, catering, event, insurance partners, and others). Only the strictly required data is passed on. Your personal data will only be used for the organisation of the mission and for no other purpose. As networking is a key aspect of the mission, ChinaEU may share participants’ personal data (name, title and contact details) amongst the participants of the mission.
